The Band
Brassy Sharman's
Fancy is a well known ceilidh band renowned for its vibrant and
energetic style of music and dance. The band provides
entertainment for ceilidhs, barn dances, wedding receptions,
birthday celebrations, anniversaries, community events,
festivals and corporate functions
either as the sole dance entertainment or as a part of the event.
The aim is to get everyone mingling and enjoying themselves
through the medium of simple but rhythmic dancing.
Based in North Lincolnshire, the band normally performs in the Midlands and Home Counties but will travel
and has entertained as far afield as York, Wolverhampton and Maldon in Essex.
Formed by members of the Tatterfoals Morris Dance team from
Scunthorpe, the band has been playing traditional and more modern tunes for ceilidh or barn dances
for almost 20 years
